Dad Patrol + Electric Spoonful + Kitsch

Dad Patrol + Electric Spoonful + Kitsch

The Cap
Doors 8PM / Show 9PM
$10 adv / $15 at the door

Dad Patrol, Electric Spoonful, & make a lot of noise at The Cap, Saturday, May 2nd.

Headbanging, foot-stomping guitar rock delivered with intensity and exuberance; Dad Patrol’s unique sound is playful and cohesive with lyrics that share vulnerability through Dobson’s (lead vocals) charming growl. Pleaser, Dad Patrol’s ECMA-nominated second album is gritty and smooth, telling stories of loneliness and isolation with complex emotion and sound. https://dadpatrol.bandcamp.com/

Electric Spoonful was born from a freak accident when a bottle of Oland was knocked over onto a half eaten Dave's Hot ‘N Juicy. The combination of beer and grease began to grow out of control, manifesting into the entity that we now know as "The Grease from the East". Drawing on the sounds and styles of acts such as METZ, FIDLAR, Viagra Boys and Eagles of Death Metal, these noisy boys are perfect for throwing back a beer or 12, proving that their only purpose in this life is to show you the meaning of a good time. https://electricspoonful.bandcamp.com/

Kitsch is a new band with a fresh, whimsy take on indie rock. Defined by jazz and psychedelic influences, 3-part harmonies, and spacy synth tones, Kitsch sounds unique yet familiar. Look out for Kitsch's debut record in summer 2026. https://open.spotify.com/artist/0xjL8VhrzOYsD8FF20GFxY?si=SxG-e4BbTTCjFTcqtNmjig

Dale Ross & Ross Fizzard

The Cap
Doors 6:30PM / Show 7PM
$15 adv / $20 at the door

After a biting winter divided by the mezzo prairie provinces, Dale Ross & Ross Fizzard join forces to bring you some of the best original folk music Canada has to offer.

Influenced by Dylan & Baez, Lennon & McCartney, Simon & Garfunkel, this dreadnaught guitar driven harmony duo fuses the energy of rock 'n' roll with the lyrical playfulness of a couple 13th century Italian poet wannabes, bringing to life stories of steely-grinned thieves, bebop women, and government evading roughnecks.

Dale and Ross will each play a short solo set and then join forces for a duo performance.

SOLD OUT!! NAPALM DEATH + PRIMITIVE MAN

Charlotte Street Arts Centre
Doors 6:30PM / Show 7PM

$50 adv - tickets on-sale Jan 30 at 11am
WET/DRY

NAPALM DEATH

Napalm Death are credited as pioneers of the grindcore genre by incorporating elements of crust punk and death metal, using a noise-filled sound that uses heavily distorted, down-tuned guitars, grinding overdrive bass, high speed tempo, blast beats, and vocals which consist of incomprehensible growls, or high-pitched shrieks, extremely short songs, fast tempos, and sociopolitical lyrics. Even after exerting an indelible influence on the entire world of heavy music for nearly 40 years, there is still no band on Earth that sounds like Napalm Death. Not just the pioneers, but an enduring benchmark for invention and fearlessness in heavy and experimental music of all kinds, the Birmingham legends are still hurtling forward at full pelt.

PRIMITIVE MAN

Planet earth's 1st and only Death Sludge band.

Devin Cuddy
https://www.devincuddy.com

Devin Cuddy is a singer songwriter based in Toronto. From an early age he was drawn to music of the past. While sifting through his father's (Jim Cuddy of Blue Rodeo) CD collection, he found the music of Louis Armstrong and New Orleans blues piano players like Dr John and Professor Longhair. After attending York University for Jazz Piano, Devin starting hanging around Toronto's Cameron House, where he was inspired by the local singer songwriter scene. He began his performing career alone at the piano, playing every Wednesday night. It was during this time that he began writing and testing out his own material on an ever growing crowd. Drawing from inspirations like Randy Newman and Steve Earle, Devin started to build up a catalogue of his own material.

The OBGMs

Toronto-based punk-rock stars, The OBGMs, are known for furiously engaging performances and unmatched energy. Backed by critically acclaimed albums (The Ends / Sorry, It’s Over), the recent JUNO Award nominees don’t play to the crowd—they own it, weaponizing playful rage and turning non-believers into members of the sect.

Sharing stages with Sum 41, PUP, and Death From Above 1979 proves the range: stadium-ready presence with the instinct to level a small room. No matter the size, the outcome is the same- the place ignites. Faith in music is restored.

Every city. Every country. Every time.

THE OBGMs WILL SAVE YOU

Kasador

Kasador
https://kasador.bandcamp.com/

In a time when connection, friction and unpredictability are whittled away in favour of algorithmically dictated sameness, Kasador are solely interested in being a great rock and roll band committed to loud, catchy, confrontational guitar music as a weapon against corporate power, plutocracy, and our great collective numbness. This is the clearest and most direct they’ve ever been. Uncoincidentally, it’s also the most fed-up they’ve ever been.

With their latest album 'Momma Might've Raised A Fool' (released Nov 2025), the band leaned into a more pared-back approach in favour of connection & real moments instead of robotic perfection. This is dressed-down, cheeky, pirate-radio indie-rock. It’s tender and carefully considered, but also raw and wild and burnt around the edges - a sonic and compositional thumbprint that makes Kasador stand out, along with their extremely high-energy live shows and their dedication to building community by meeting every single person that comes to their shows.

Fresh off the release of their 3rd studio album Kasador are touring Canada and the UK extensively with plans to release plenty more music in 2026. The band are showing no signs of slowing down as they continue their quest for human-to-human connection through authentic artistic expression.

If you want more dirty, raw, celebratory rock and roll in your life, stay tuned. Help is on the way.

McKinley, Morrison, Williams
https://mckinleymorrisonwilliams.bandcamp.com/album/the-big-picture

McKinley Morrison & Williams are an electrifying Canadian music group with an original sound rooted in Jazz, Funk and Worldmusic. In 2019, they were awarded Stingray Music Rising Star at the Harvest Jazz & Blues Festival as well as Band of the Year at the Saint John Music Awards. This thrilling trio delivers melodic musical fusion, bass solos, guitar wizardry, and a drum clinic performance.

Connor Fox Trio
https://connorfox5.bandcamp.com/

Connor Fox is a rising force in roots and blues rock, blending soulful guitar mastery with dynamic live performances. After gaining acclaim with The Hypochondriacs, he launched his debut solo album Music Room to sold-out shows and critical praise. His genre-spanning style and incredible guitar playing marks him as a generational talent destined for a bright future in music.

Growing up in Fredericton, New Brunswick, music was always a big part of Connor's life. Whether it was his dad strumming around the house, or playing his Stevie Ray Vaughan and Van Halen records, Connor was immersed at an early age. He started playing guitar at only four years old, and by nine he played his first gig. His first gig wasn’t an open mic or family reunion though, Connor was sharing the stage with Elvis Presley's drummer DJ Fontana at the Fredericton Playhouse, one of the city's most renowned venues.

Hardcore punk via noise rock outfit Mulch (Montréal, QC) is composed of Rose Cormier (vocals, synthesizer), William Trottier-Jackson (bass), Timothy Aaron Bryan (guitar), and Michael Tomizzi (drums). Known for their explosive live sets, which feature a hefty dose of dissonant chord changes, off-kilter rhythms, and incendiary vocals, the group are active members of Montréal's resurgent hardcore music scene, sharing the stage with the likes of PyPy, Faze, and Béton Armé.  🔥 LIVE AT THE CAP – APRIL 17 🔥

Three legendary sounds. One massive night of rock.

Mr. Jack kicks things off with the soaring melodies and explosive intensity of Alexisonfire, then dives straight into the chaotic, high-energy metal of System of a Down. To close the night, Bombtrack unleashes the politically charged riffs and funk-driven fury of Rage Against the Machine.

From emotional post-hardcore to unpredictable metal to revolutionary rap-rock — this is a night packed with iconic songs, huge riffs, and nonstop energy.

The Satisfactory are a Canadian rock 'n' roll band fronted by lead singer and songwriter Salvador Vaughan.

Nate and the Busy Boys draw inspiration from vintage rock of the 50s and 60s, performed with equal parts technical precision and youthful abandon. Walking the line between pastiche and all-out camp, the Busy Boys are a rare combination of style and substance.

Chastity is for the skids, the headbangers, the freaks. Chastity is for everyone who has suffered and survived the lethal combination of suburban overculture and mental distress. Chastity is especially for everyone who didn’t survive—the ones who didn’t get out. Brandon Williams did, luckily, and his work with Chastity has been to collect people like him, who got out by the skin of their teeth.

Last Words is a post-hardcore band from Fredericton, combining influences from hardcore, emo, and shoegaze. Made up of members from various former local bands, they hope to bring a fresh yet familiar sound to the scene.
